Lead medium to large-sized information system projects, providing stakeholders with regular status reports.

Develop, implement, and test documentation to assist users, updating it as needed following procedural changes or system enhancements
Utilize business knowledge to identify opportunities for improving existing or new information technology, driving value to the business.
Prepare detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining system capabilities and processes.
Lead information systems research to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with current systems.
Provide analytical assistance to junior team members to resolve application incidents, maintenance items, and enhancement requests.
Lead interactions between customers, cross-functional internal IT teams, and vendors to troubleshoot technical and functional issues to resolution.
Log trouble calls, analyze and correct problems at the source, and advise users of changes in procedures.
Ensure system changes follow change management procedures and protocols, creating and maintaining documentation for all assigned applications.
Develop, plan, and execute testing for supported applications.
Oversee computer applications to ensure the proper use and security of protected patient health information.
Act as a technology subject matter expert and clearly communicate technical concepts in business terms, influencing outcomes.
Responsible for the support, configuration, upgrade, maintenance, and implementation of multiple new and existing business or clinical applications.
Play a major role in complex software upgrade initiatives.
Education:
Bachelors degree (Healthcare or IT preferred)
Preferred Experience:
Previous healthcare IT experience preferred; proficiency with PC hardware, standard software and specialized applications; knowledge of administrative systems and software applications including MS Office, MS Project, SQL, etc.
