POSITION SUMMARY
The Admissions Events/Student Worker Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of events for the Traditional Admissions office at Ohio Christian University.
Such events include, but are not limited to Preview days, individual visits, Registration days, Move-in Days, Scholars Day, and GLOW, an admissions event geared towards middle school and high school youth groups.
The coordinator schedules the events, communicates with other campus groups, and manages all the details related to the events.
This position manages the Admissions focused social media with a focus on highlighting campus events and Admissions campaigns.
The coordinator also supervises the Admissions student workers, by managing their schedule, assessing their productivity and approving their hours.
The purpose of the position is to coordinate events for the Traditional On Campus program, events including but not limited to individual visits, Preview Days, Orientation Days, Move-In Days, ACT tests, Scholars Day, and other special events.
The position includes scheduling for the events, communicating with other campus groups, and day-of management.
This position also supervises and oversees the student workers.
This position creates and manages each student worker?s schedule and approves their hours.
The supervisor keeps track of student worker data and productivity.
This position also includes social media management with a focus on highlighting campus events and Admissions campaigns.
The coordinator will build a social media schedule and delegate tasks to admissions personnel and/or student workers.
The coordinator will also research social media strategies and monitor social media movements among competitors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide oversight, expertise, and guidance in planning of all Admissions related events, including but not limited to Preview days, individual visits, Registration days, Move-in Days, Scholars Day, and GLOW, an admissions event geared for youth groups and their leaders.
Organize and facilitate any necessary event related meetings.
Coordinate all administrative needs for each event including event promotion via social media and bulk texts.
Able to analyze the effectiveness of each event and make adjustments as needed.
Supervise Admissions student workers, manage their schedules and assess their productivity.
Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Able to work well independently and to maintain positive interpersonal relationships.
Additional duties as assigned.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Training and Experience:
Bachelor?s Degree preferred
Experience working in higher education preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Familiar with social media platforms
Able to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced work environment
Good written and oral communicator
Able to work a flexible schedule, occasional weekends, based on event dates
Possess valid driver?s license
Able to stand/walk for prolonged periods
