Coordinate all aspects of workshops for various South Centers programs.
Assist in the coordination and scheduling of programs.
Assist in the evaluation and selection of seminar topics, instructional materials, and speakers.
Coordinate arrangements for program facilities, catering, and lodgings.
Receive, process and confirm registrations.
Promoting workshops through email lists serv.
Contact media and community organizations to promote and publicize events.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of program materials, press releases, brochures, and newsletters.

Administrative support:
Greets public and responds to client questions.
Answers phones.
Directs visitors.
Distributes mail.
Makes copies for staff as needed.
Takes meeting notes at quarterly staff meetings.
Oversees office and equipment inventory.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED.
0 years of relevant experience required.
0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
Excellent verbal communications, organizational management, and people skills.
Desired: Two years of office practices and procedures, including customer service/public relations.
Operating basic office machines and equipment (copy machine, fax machine and postage meter).
Requires successful completion of background check.
