General Descriptions of Duties:
Be knowledgeable of upcoming projects and personnel requirements so all materials and personnel are in place to ensure production and customer satisfaction is attained.
Assist in the daily scheduling of people, trucks and materials to ensure productivity goals are met.
Communicate with Plant Managers and Assistant Plant Managers daily and assist with all issues or needs.
Communicate with Plant Maintenance daily and assist with all issues or needs.
Communicate with vendors and suppliers in a professional manner.
Communicate with customers, employees and general public in a diplomatic manner in various stressful and challenging situations.
Oversee and manage weekly updates of DriveCam coaching reports from safety department.
Facilitate and prepare for monthly operational meetings with plant personnel.
Facilitate and prepare for monthly operations and financial review meetings with GM.
Oversee and reinforce operational departments safety, company and training policies.
Review monthly plant maintenance inspection report.
Review weekly plant load report results.
Assist GM with annual capital project planning, budgeting and implementation.
Serve as a link between employees and the Human Resources Department by handling questions and help resolve work and policy related issues.
Oversee the hiring and termination of employees involved in operations.
Coordinate with Quality Control Department to ensure an accurate product is being produced and delivered.
Communicate with Sales Department to attain information needed to preform projects or delivery requirements.
Qualifications:
College degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Work with a varied schedule to accommodate early, late or weekend deliveries.
Strong organizational skills.
Computer skills and experience required.
Valid driver’s license, Class A or B preferred.
Efficient & effective communication skills.
