The Unit Clerk is the primary receptionist for the inpatient unit.
This individual provides clerical support to the care team including typing, word processing, transcribing physician orders, and ordering supplies and acts as liaison facilitating communication with or between other care providers and visitors directly or via telephone.
This position has limited patient contact, has access to confidential patient information and works collaboratively with the care team under the indirect supervision of the Nurse Manager.
The Patient care assistant provides high quality, direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, while providing an atmosphere that supports our mission To Heal, To Educate, To Care.
This includes, but is not limited to: activities of daily living, simple treatments/procedures, telemetry monitor set up, oxygen set up, etc.
This individual works collaboratively with other care team members including the patient and family, and participates in patient care to achieve conferences to achieve optimal outcomes.
The Nurse Tech has access to confidential patient information, must communicate with all team members regarding care provided by them to the assigned patient group and carries out daily activities under the direct supervision of a Staff Nurse, indirect supervision of the Nurse Manager or Unit Director.
