Job Description
_*Frontier Community Services (Frontier)*_is a private not for profit agency that provides a wide range of skilled and unskilled services and supports to children and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, veterans, and seniors.
We are currently seeking a *Registered Nurse *tojoin our team.
*The duties related to this position are:*
*Assesses & evaluates nursing & medical needs of patients* *for the purposes of intake and discharge*
*Perform Patient visits in a skilled or non-skilled environment and provides oversight of care*
*Documents using online databases as needed or required for visits and other related tasks*
*Delivers excellent customer service and care reflective of the Agencies Mission*
*Educate and train direct care staff in a classroom settings as well as on a one-on-one on a regular bases as it relates to the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities and the Ohio Board of Nursing requirements*
*Ability to obtain and maintain certifications related to education and training*
*Maintains ability to be flexible and participate in on-call rotation as needed and as assigned*
*Is organized and has the ability to multitask prioritizing schedules to aide in maintaining care needs, training needs inherent of this position*
*Working Hours:* Typical Working Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.
m.
to 5:00 p.
m.
Will be place in shared on-call rotation.
*Requirements Include:*
* Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience
* Current Ohio License as a Registered Nurse
* Working knowledge using OASIS assessments
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Valid Ohio driver’s license with less than 6 points
* Current automobile insurance and reliable transportation
* Must pass criminal background checks and drug screening
