Georgia Pacific's Corrugated Packaging business is looking for a site-based Training Manager to lead the implementation and management of hourly training initiatives.
The Training Manager is responsible for oversight of the implementation and distribution of synergized operating learning and development systems throughout our facilities.
The Training Manager will also collaborate with capabilities across the division and the global learning and development team to ensure continuity in the established learning and development programs for learners.

The Training Manager is critical to our success, as this role leads our operations team and partners with various capabilities across Georgia Pacific to create value for overall business success and employee development.
Location: Open to candidates residing in proximity to Circleville, Ohio.
This is an on-site position with up to 25% regional travel with an opportunity to collaborate with internal partners and the larger L&D/GP organization.
What You Will Do Lead hourly operator technical training initiatives using an entrepreneurial approach to continuously improve and transformation learning and development.
Manage the development of site-based hourly workforce, focusing on operational and implementation strategies to enhance plant processes and efficiency.
Create and update technical training content, including SOPs, OPLs, and reference materials.
Utilize knowledge base and established training processes to expedite Learning & Development programs within a corrugated facility.
Collaborate with site leadership to identify training gaps, challenges, and opportunities.
Prioritize efforts on targeted opportunities that add significant value to retention, growth, and development for key positions.
Identify and monitor relevant metrics and dashboards to evaluate the effectiveness of learning operations.
Collaborate cross-functionally with various packaging capabilities and the broader L&D organization to drive transformation in technical hourly training.
Ensure training content aligns with company culture and values throughout program development and deployment.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Proven experience in the corrugated industry and strong technical packaging skills to oversee and lead technical training initiatives.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to enable the creation and implementation of learning materials within a learning system.
What Will Put You Ahead 3 or more years of experience with Learning and Development in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated expertise with over three years of experience in assisting a diverse learning team.
Experience with building and facilitating Learning and Development programs across facilities.
Experience developing and compiling operational content to support multiple site learners.
For this role, we anticipate paying $75,000 - $100,000 per year.
This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
