Apple Farm Service is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable individual to join their team as the next Parts Manager.
This candidate will oversee all aspects of the parts department, including parts inventory, parts sales, parts ordering, and the growth of the parts department.
Customer service is a must for this candidate, as the Parts Manager will be working between our customers, parts vendors, and parts employees.
Apple Farm Service is the area's leader in agricultural parts.
The company stocks over 80,000 different parts from dozens of major and short lines, such as Case IH, New Holland, Kinze, Great Plains, and many others.
This candidate must be able to successfully complete the duties below:
*Manage inventory and ordering of parts for stock and equipment repairs.
*Oversee the parts department and the employees under the parts department.
*Achieve growth in key areas of the parts department, including goals set by the owner and goals set by the manufacturers.
*Effectively communicate between all departments at both the store and complex level.
*Find the customer's missing or repair parts using computer software, parts guides, and other databases
*Find and pick parts from the company's warehouse
*Take customer phone calls, emails, faxes, or in store visits from customers
*Obtain appropriate credit and/or payment for retail purchases
*Complete transactions from customers through computer software
*Receive and stock new and ordered parts in the company's warehouse
*Maintain and clean in store displays and merchandising
*Place on order appropriate parts for retail customers
*Maintain and stay aware of all major updates to our company's product lines and related aftermarket parts
*Communicate to customers when ordered parts are available for pick-up
*Assist service department with required parts for repairs
Preferred Experience: (Not required, but preferred):
*Experience as a parts manager or experience in a related field
*Experience selling agricultural, construction, or related parts
*Experience in a retail setting
*Experience with dealer business information systems
*Strong communication and customer service skills
*Basic computer operations, such as Outlook, Excel, Word, ect.
Pay:
Pay based on experience and work ethic.
Time and a half paid for any hours worked over 40 hr/wk.
Raises offered based on performance and time spent within the company
