*Cashier Job Summary:*
Operate the cash register to check out customers in a prompt, efficient, and courteous manner, with all sales and transactions properly recorded and collected according to company policies and procedures.
*Major duties:*
Check out customers promptly, courteously, efficiently, and accurately
Knowledge of equipment
Keep work area clean and stocked at all times
Knowledge of current ad and all other information posted by head cashier or manager
Count till in and out, and maintain required balance
Maintain courteous and friendly customer relations
Report customer complaints to the manager
*Minor duties:*
Provide verbal and physical assistance to customers
Maintains alertness for shoplifting and notifies management.
Order product to fill shelves when assigned
Stock shelves and racks when assigned
Perform sweeping and cleaning functions
Operate telephones and intercoms and practice proper telephone etiquette.
Follow all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Cashier Training Manual and Employee Handbook
Performs other duties as assigned
*Relationships*: Reports to Office Manager.
Supervises no one.
Assists and cooperates with other cashiers where needed to benefit the front end operation.

*Clerk Job Summary: *The clerk is responsible for producing, baking, filling, finishing, merchandising, weighing, wrapping, pricing, and providing efficient and courteous customer service.
Must follow food safety guidelines and all company policies and procedures.
*Major duties:*
Waits on customers in a prompt, courteous, accurate, and efficient manner, uses suggestive selling, and maintains high quality customer relations.
Mixes raw materials, follows recipes, and maintains product consistency.
Rotates all bakery products on a first in / first out basis.
Follows regular cleaning schedule for equipment and cases.
Is totally familiar with equipment and operates (if applicable) bread slicers, proofers, scales, fryers, mixers, and ovens.
Is totally familiar with weights and measures standards and the proper use of container and packaging materials.
Take cake orders; able to script cakes
Learn to proficiently decorate cakes
*Minor duties:*
Does price changes as requested.
Operate hydraulic baler, pallet jack, and trash compactor.
Performs freshness checks.
Perform sweeping, mopping, and cleaning functions.
Keep company recipes confidential.
When necessary, waits on deli customers.
Operate telephones and intercoms and practice proper telephone etiquette.
Follows all company policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
Performs other duties as assigned
*Qualifications: *
Read and write.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Lift and stack up to 50 pounds.
Follow verbal and written instructions.
Pull or push wheeled vehicles weighing up to 500 pounds.
Provide verbal and physical assistance to customers.
Reach and stock product up to 6 feet h
