Responsibilities:
Perform tasks on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Work with Quality Assurance to verify die work quality and make necessary adjustments.
Work with interlocking systems for automated and semi-automated equipment.
Troubleshoot Programmable Logic controller (PLC) problems using the personal computer, etc.
Use logic printouts for diagnostic/repair functions.
Repair sensors, modules, and field wiring as required.
Add or delete sensors, solenoids, lights, etc.
, to PLC programs based on information supplied.
Install piping system for various process needs (Hydraulic and Pneumatic).
Fabricating from blueprints, written, and/or verbal directions.
Use precision measuring tools including, but not limited to, calipers, compasses, etc.
Work with industrial controls systems.
Basic mechanic functions of automated equipment.
Perform electrical equipment maintenance, repairs, and installation.
Use forklift and other handling equipment.
Use maintenance shop equipment, power tools, hand tools, Volt OHM Meter (VOM), Digital Multi Meter (DMM), and weld scope.
Proper handling of Hazardous Waste generated by plant.
Perform PM tasks as assigned (Electrical, Mechanical, Fixturing).
Uphold and maintain team oriented environment with quality goals.
Perform other duties as assigned Manager.
Clean work area.
Requirements:
1st Shift Hours are typically 6:30am-3:00pm
Starting pay is $17-28/hour (depending on test score)
Basic Education Requirements are high school diploma and/or GED with basic math skills and reading comprehension.
3-5+ years of experience preferred.
Electrical experience, a plus.
Sewing machinery maintenance, is ideal.
Ability to work autonomously in a fast paced environment.
Desire to be part of a growth business and operate in an ever-changing environment.
Basic experience of MS Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.
Ability to work flexible schedule.
