The current opportunity would work out of our Greenfield, OH location.
The Opportunity:
This position is for Automation Engineer depending on education and experience.
This is a salary position that does not involve direct management of people.
In this role, you will report to the Plant Operations Manager.
Your focus will be on designing, programming, simulating, and testing automated processes and machinery to support manufacturing processes in coordination with the plant's goals and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Repair and maintain computer-controlled systems and robotic devices
Monitor automated systems
Perform routine diagnostic checks on automated systems
Troubleshoot / develop process for new programs
Assist the plants in startup of new equipment and processes
Assist with maintenance and production processes and improvements
Maintain and improve the quality of the product through the use of continuous improvement, training, and troubleshooting
Involvement as necessary in the quoting and feasibility processes for new and replacement part orders and programs
Train associates as required
Fully participate in and support Corvac’s Quality Management Systems
Fully participate in and support Corvac’s Environmental Management Systems
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and EMS
Other duties and responsibilities as needed
We’re looking for an Automation Engineer with:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and Technology or related field preferred or Advanced aptitude for equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Advanced capabilities with PLC programming and troubleshooting
Demonstrated knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring systems
Automotive experience preferred
Proficient with computer, including Microsoft Office, email, and various software systems
