Cox Paving is currently seeking Experienced Heavy Equipment Operators (with a focus on finish dozer operators) to work within various industries including: municipal, public & infrastructure development.

Ideal individuals must have good, safe, working experience.
- Operate equipment per plan and quality specifications as instructed by crew foreman / superintendent to ensure daily schedules / estimates are met.
- Operator construction, asphalt paving, and milling equipment (Finish Dozers, Graders, Excavators, Asphalt / Concrete Pavers, Asphalt Rollers, Mills, Barco Mill, Street Sweepers, Tractor Brooms, Widening Box).
- Labor on construction projects as needed.
- Minor service / maintenance on equipment if applicable.
- Prior experience working within construction / asphalt industry / roadway construction is a plus.
Willing to train the right individuals.
- Prior experience operating a finish dozer/grader
- Safety conscious.
- Able to work as a team or independently.
- Formal training or certifications relevant to position is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license.
Equipment Operator Physical & Mental Demands:
- Local travel traditionally.
- Required overtime.
- Seasonal layoffs.
- Extensive physical activity.
- Must work outdoors and in all weather conditions / terrain.
- Could be asked to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
