Job Functions / Responsibilities
Coordinate all aspects of the preparation and consolidation of forecasts and budget submissions for the factory across all departments.
Analyze factory overhead and maintain proactive involvement with management to identify areas for improved efficiency, reduced costs, maximized profit and ensure budget compliance.
Apply data analytics to the forecasting process to recommend value added changes and participate in reviews with the Plant Controller.
Become a strategic business partner to various levels of plant management to guide the decision-making process related to budget management and cost reductions.
Actively participate in process improvement to increase efficiency within the organization.
Assist with plant accounting responsibilities including interim inventory counts, factor studies, plant comparisons, and internal control testing.
Maintain effective oral and written communications with other members of the management team and provide backup support for other Accounting areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
BS or BA degree in Accounting with 3 – 5 years’ experience in accounting with background in manufacturing environment.
CPA/CMA and/or MBA is highly preferred.
Must be proficient in PC’s and the use of Windows-based programs including Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, and charts), Power Point, Access and Word.
Demonstrated interpersonal, technical, and communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
